I use my product mostly for cardboard. However it accompanies me often on fishing trips. It keeps a great edge. Convenient to carry and is overall my favorite current knife.
The knife is long, I forgot the exact dimensions but I'm putting it in my hunting bag. With it being the color it is I'll not set it on the ground and walk away. The blade profile is perfect for not only skinning and gutting deer & elk but butchering as well. I'm excited to put it to work this season. With it being S35VN I have high expectations. I love the scales; they should be excellent while covered in blood.
It's a pretty big blade. The handle is fairly large too, although it's not that thick, it is large such that it fills your hand. Thing is, it's so light it carries unnoticed. Clip is bright and solid. Opens smoothly, locks solid, closes smoothly. Very sharp VERY SHARP. Serious point. This is a really good knife. Even better on sale.
This is a big knife. Just based on the steel alone and the size of the blade this is an amazing value. The handle ergos are very good. For the price, you can have several of these as emergency knives in your vehicles if it is legal in your area.
Spyderco, bottom line is very impressive. No bearings nothing fancy but the flip is perfect and it won't roll back down but very easy to operate with one hand. And the blade is nice 👌
