Super Blue Spydie is top-notch.

Fit and finished is superb. It is small in hand and very pocketable. When you slip it in the pocket, it just disappear. But remember! it is a 3.5 inches blade. Love the sandblasted screw that match perfectly with a grey micarta scale. Blade is SHARP as you always expect from Spyderco. It is a must-have for Spyderco fan.

Caly 3.5 Super Blue

Imo,the Super Blue sprint is well worth the extra cost over the VG-10 model. Super Blue is a very high quality Japanese carbon (non stainless) steel. It is very easy to sharpen and takes a sharper edge than most, if not all, stainless steels. Edge retention is better than VG-10 also. The downside is that this steel will rust if not cared for properly, but ime is less prone to rusting than many other carbon steels are. I got two of them. One was perfect and was the sharpest OOTB of any Spyderco I've ever had (have had more than 15), not that that matters very much, but it is kind of nice. The second one had a grinding error. The guy who sharpened/ground the blade must have slipped or not paid attention for a second and the grind angle was quite a bit steeper on about a 1 inch section of one side of the blade. Otherwise the knife was perfect. I should have returned it but I tried to sharpen it out and ended up grinding away and wasting about 1/16th inch of the blade to only partially correct the problem which kind of pissed me off. Eventually it will get completely sharpened out, but I shouldn't have to deal with such things on a new knife. It's my fault for not returning it though. If you get a good one, it's a fabulous Caly 3.5 because the Super Blue is just awesome, as long as you don't mind patina (I like it) and the very minor maintenance/care that is required to prevent and avoid rusting. Another cool thing is it is very easy to remove and replace the blade from the handle (just one screw), and this makes it pretty easy to catch and polish out any rust that might get started on the parts of the tang that are covered and hidden by the handle.
