My favorite every day carry knife
This is my favorite every day carry knife. The relatively thick, sturdy S35VN blade stays sharp for long periods and I like the blue FRN handles as they provide a good grip. The blue color blends into the jeans I usually wear which is a plus as the tip shows a tiny bit above the pocket level when using the clip. The clip slides onto my pocket easily and has a firm (but not too firm) grip. I'm a fan of serrated blades in an EDC knife as they cut through rope easily, efficiently slice through plants in my garden and are useful even if a little dull. The one criticism I have is that the knife does not open as easily as I would like with one hand and requires a little effort. But I view that as minor when compared to everything else positive associated with the knife as set forth above. I like it so much that I bought a second in case I lose the one I have.

Great bang for buck knife
I believe it is the perfect gift for people who aren't knife enthusiasts. The stainless steel will hold an edge better than S30V and if never sharpened, the serrations will cut longer than a flat grind ever will. Down sides are I noticed the Chinese Sypercos have grit/dirt in the phosphor bronze bushings right out of the box. Also the action is stiff, perhaps due to its size and does not flick open as easily as other larger Spyderco knives.
