Too nice to use ?

I have used th knife for letter and package opening being careful not to get tape glue on it. The knife is so unique and beautiful in shape i find it hard to use as an everyday knife as I want to keep it in my collection. It is not cheap enough that it merits buying two (one for use, one for keeps) but if it goes on sale I might. Mechanism is typical Spyderco, which means good and solid. Only thing I would change is to design a pocket clip that is much more appropriate to the art deco design of the knife instead of going so cheap and using one from the standard parts bin. C'mon Spyderco, show a little more class when you come out with such a classy product. The knife could afford that small detail !

I have found my favorite knife

great design and materials. art deco combined with an african ' savannah ' theme design ; quite unique , and beautiful. micarta handle has nice rich tactile feel. slim stainless steel blade that curves elegantly with handle. a real joy to hold and carry. length just right to carry in pocket.

Nice gentleman's folder

I was very impressed by this little knife. Due to its construction it is very light, easy to open, and has a nice , classic looking blade. It almost feels art deco and somewhat antique. It appears very well made for such a lightweight design.

It's a Beauty

Its a real nice knife. Very sharp. Aside from the micarta handle, which I like, it has a collectable look and feel to me. Nice gent's knife. The only downside is the length is likely illegal in many cities, but I'm not worried too much about that.

Excellent

I'm an electrician so I generally have a knife on me at all times at work and home. Though I haven't had a lot of time to put this knife through the rigors of my work, I am thoroughly impressed with it. The blade came out of the box extremely sharp. It's sleek design is very eye pleasing and feels good in hand. Some blades show obvious wear after even moderate use not so with this knife. Though the price is a little indulgent, I would say that I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Too nice to use at work.

My ONLY problem is opening it and that is more a function of my fingers than the knife.
