Beastly knife

Excellent blade will cut through cardboard then cut a tomato in kitchen. Easy to disassemble to clean, rotolock is a nice effective touch. The short clip lets it ride deep in pocket and doesnt snag on anything. Only 2 cons about knife is no finger choil in blade like a lot of other spydercos', and could use more jimping on spine were thumb rest in open position. Overall this is my new EDC. Spyderco and Lionsteel knocked it out the park with this collaberation.

This knife is great. The size is perfect for an EDC. The weight is much lighter than the SR-1 but still has all the strength. Also the handle has a better grip than the SR-1. The Spyderco hole makes for quick one handed opening even with gloves on. Mine came in razor sharp. I believe this is a winner!

Great knife!

Excellent blade steel, incredibly solid lockup, great ergonomics, reasonably good although not perfect fit and finish. Reasonable weight and size, very comfortable handle. Excellent blade geometry cuts very smoothly and well. The blade tightness and also the stiffness of the rotolock can be adjusted w/ an appropriate tool, and the replaceable lock bar tab is a great idea! This is an expensive knife, but I imagine it will last me for a very very long time.

great knife

This knife is awesome. It came razor sharp, lockup is tight and solid. The flat ground blade makes it an great slicer even with the extra thick spine. The pocket clip is excellent since it carries the knife deep in pocket. Also, since the pocket clip itself is small, it makes the knife less conspicuous when in pocket. The only ding I give it is that the jimping is less than ideal. It needs to be a bit sharper and go up higher on the hole/thumb ramp to provide greater traction. The way the jimping is now, when my thumb is in position on the back/bottom of the spine and thumb ramp, my thumb just slides up the ramp.

Gorgeous knife but....

This is a well build knife with a decent fit and finish. The stop pin and roto lock both are a little on the poor fnf side. Great durable steel with the Elmax takes a edge slow but clean and holds it for an acceptable time. The one con I have noted is one of the knifes key features, the lock system with the roto and the hardened steel insert seem to give false security the lock is esaly removed accidently and in turn engages anoyingly at inopritune times. The lock engauges with a solid lock up but the solid snap of the lock and tension seems to meander its way back up to an undesierable position on the back of the blade. Over all a very appealing knife that is gorgeous and a joy to use.
