When I got it's big brother, the Polestar, I was pleasantly surprised, I had never been extremely impressed by the Tenacious and similar value line by Spyderco but these are something different. Much nicer design, better ergonomics, nicer fit & finish. Got the Alcyone as well when that came out and now they're both being used next to mainly other Spydercos, some up to 3-4 times their value. Great knife to use! (very nice looking/feeling G10 handles as well, also not as likely to rip up your pants as most G10)
