First Para 3 First Spyderbite

I’m an electrician and knife guy I use my knives for stripping wire cutting zip-ties opening boxes and lots of other tasks. This one bit me while cutting a Zip-tie so as they say now I own it for sure. Anyway buck to the knife Love it the fit in hand handle to blade ratio, put a deep carry clip on and used it from the day I got it until surgery and now around the house gotta get back on that horse

Was unsure, but LOVE it!

I own three Para 3 knives (now 4 with this one.) I was always unsure of getting this one not knowing if I'd like the combination of colors and pattern that I'd get with the digital camo. Needless to say, I finally took a chance on ordering one and was not disappointed. The camo pattern is a nice balance of light and dark colors. It is also cool to see the natural G10 on the liner side of the handles. The blade by far is the sharpest of my Para 3 knives to date. I was also surprised to see how finely polished the flat grind is on this example compared to my Spy27 Lightweight. Get one!

Awesome knife

Scary sharp out of the box. Great weight for a knife, a little heavier than frn handeled ( which I like ) .Found the PM2 a touch too big but this size is perfect. Going to be my EDC from now on and I can't be more pleased with this new model. Won't be used in too extreme conditions as having several salts for fishing in the tropics. Ordered the grey sprint after an hour of having a look and feel of this knife Only down side is the Delica models will be having a hard time getting looked at for future purchases Spyderco and knifecentre allways great companies to deal with.

My first Para 3 wont be my last.

The smoothest Spyderco I have received out of the box. Spydieflicks open smooth and drops free from the compression lock. I have 3 other compression lock Spydercos and this has been the smoothest out of the box with no need to adjust the pivot or stop bar screws. Handle is extremely comfortable in hand. The S30v blade is great but I will also be picking up the S110v, and probably some of the sprint runs later in the year.

Really nice EDC option

3rd Spyderco knife in my collection and has quickly become my favorite [Even though this model is not my most expensive Spyderco.] My reason is simple. In my opinion and experience now this Paramilitary 3 is about the perfect size and weight for an EDC knife. I wanted a stronger blade steel and the S45VN doesn't disappoint. Neither does the blade size or thickness disappoint. I really enjoy the aesthetic of the digital camouflage handles. They add a fresh and welcomed new look to my knife collection which largely consists of black handled knives with Satin blades. I should also mention a few other extras: a generously sized lanyard hole, strong deep pocket carry clip, and it's made in the U.S.A. I'm very pleased with this purchase and addition to my collection.

Great Midsized Folder!

I just received my Para 3 Camo today. I live on the west coast and, of course, the KnifeCenter is in Virginia. But, I RECEIVED MY KNIFE IN THREE DAYS!!! Awesome service! To be honest, they were running a special of 2 to 3 day shipping for President's Day, but still, I was VERY impressed! Thanks KnifeCenter! NOW, ONTO THE KNIFE ---- It's nothing short of awesome. I'm 66 years old and have many knifes (including Spyderco and Benchmade) over my life, but this is one of the best! Great size for everyday carry, very well built (I'm sure it will outlast me :-) and with S30V steel I have no doubt it will hold up to everyday use. Bottom line, it's not cheap - but then again, you get what you pay for. Looking at it that way, it's a bargain!

spiderco para 3 great knife

It’s an edc carry for me.What I like the most about the knife is its ease of opening and closing no effort at all.You can use your middle finger to lightly flick it open or your thumb on the blade hole to roll the blade open very controlled.Closing is just as easy press the compression lock tilt the handle up and blade falls closed.I put a lynch northern deep carry pocket clip on it and pretty much just the clip is visible and the flat ground blade is nice for cutting cardboard and still has a nice thickness at the spine. The spiderco clip that comes on it is very well made I just like deep carry but that’s personal preference.
