CQI is Working
I was going to buy an aftermarket scales kit.for this knife, but this is the best Para 3 LW I've owned. No blade play, blade is centered, and it has drop shut action. Feels more.solid than my other Para 3 LW's. Spyderco's CQI must be working! The added pluses here is that it's a Salt and I got it at a Black Friday sale price.

Very good lightweight knife
Great knife for everyday carry and use. It’s my first spyderco, the materials and edge are very good, and the FRN grip feels amazing with multiple gripping points. Way better than benchmades grivory. The jimping is also very good.

Love the knife. Can’t change the scales fyi. They are permanently attached. But a great knife for water activities. And a great price for magnacut.

Hard to beat.
I got this knife to be my light weight Summer beater and it's doing excelling at it's roll. Don't have to worry about rust or a fragile blade. It's been my daily and a work horse. I get why people love Para 3s so much. I'd recommend one of these for sure.

Great knife with a caveat
I really like the Para 3 line, this knife included. In fact, it’s probably my favorite. The only issue I have with this knife is the poor lock stick. I was told that all in stock were like this and it’s not considered a defect. Hopefully it will ease over time

Spyderco Para 3, very "lightweight"
The service from KnifeConnection was excellent. Great blade, good lock, junk handles. FRN is not good for anything beyond a glorified box opener. So lightweight as to not feel like it is there. I don't care for that and need more substance in the hand. I bought this Para3 LW because it was on sale and in MagnaCut with the express intent of immediately modifying it with upgraded scales. Difficult to open out of the box, will need much more break-in time. Lock was sticky.

Blade scrapes the handle. Second defective Spyderco in less than 2 weeks, not sure what has happened to this company.
