This is an excellent little knife that fits well as a carry piece. It is a beautifully finished blade with perfect balance. The detent is is solid in a good way. The flip will require learning and with some wrist action it works well. It’s no Rubicon though. The lock may bite the end of your finger several times before you get the hang of it. Very solid product.
I honestly thought this knife would have a bit more heft, yet after spending a bit of time with it I really like it. I own a bunch of Spydercos and I can say the fit & finish on this one is top notch. The polished blade is also really nice. Also not to aggressive looking, very functional and classy. Some complain about the recurve of the blade, but I think it works to get through some heavier duty cutting tasks. Also fits nice in the pocket, yet I might switch the clip to the otherside to avoid any accidental deployment. The detent is decent, yet not super strong by design. I also like the well designed and integrated compression lock. Overall it is a keeper for me and I will like having it when I want to roll with something 100% legal in CA.
