Beautiful knife
Beautiful knife with excellent feel in the hand. Chocking up on the knife feels amazing and natural. Blade thickness is on the heavy side but doesn't stop from getting great performance. Lock up on my particular knife is slightly later then on my military 2, para 2, and para 3, at about half way. Hasn't moved past half way with a lot of opne/closing. The black on black is beautiful and blade coating is very well done. The tip on the blade is more traditional drop point so you can really work the knife hard on tasked less suitable for the military and paramilitary family. I went with the CPM-S30V because Spyderco does it well. My first ever Spyderco was the manix 2 with the hollow ground blade in S30V and it got worked hard and never disappointed. I would highly recommend this knife and just about any other model from Spyderco. 100% my favorite knife company.
