Geat service

The shipping was fast. The product exactly what ordered. I use the product for work. Opening boxes and other tasks plus is lightweight edc utility knife. So far held up well. I own it's larger siblings and love them but unwilling to replace larger versions if lost due to price.

Great small knife

Li'l Native LW almost disappears in your pocket. Once broken in, the action is smooth and positive. Very easy to close with the back lock as the blade just drops when released. The FRN handles provide good grip. Excellent choice for a small EDC.

Of 2 Minds

1. The Knife Center – 5 Stars I ordered this Spyderco Lil’ Native months ago. Despite shipping delays, TKC kept in regular contact and even offered to cancel the order if needed—great customer service. 2. Spyderco Lil’ Native – 4 Stars Spyderco generally delivers excellent knives across all price points. The Lil’ Native Lightweight has good design and materials, but quality control was lacking—my blade was off-center out of the box. The opening hole has a smoother edge than my other Spydercos (Dragonfly, Para 2, Para 3, Delica …) and lacks grip, making it harder to open reliably. I expect a lot from Spyderco, and arguably being picky. Still, with some adjustments, it is a solid knife that performs well.

A Lil' Native that makes sense

Finally the most comprehensive package for the Lil' Native. All the features now click; a thinner blade stock, less overall weight, and a decent price for a USA Spyderco make this Lil' Native stand above the others. While a lockback isn't the most convenient locking mechanism, it's easy enough to operate with one hand, it keeps the price down and keeps the knife ambidextrous. No Spydie-flick fidgeting with this one unfortunately. I have medium sized hands with long fingers and this knife holds wonderfully. CTS-BD1N is fine at this price point and keeps sharpening a breeze. And couldn't we all use a bit more sharpening practice anyway? Although the spine is comfortably rounded, I would have appreciated another section of jimping further forward near the blade tip to help with pointer-finger-forward cuts. Good stuff. Already sold my Para 3.

Great lightweight EDC option!!

Great for the price! Small and lightweight feels like almost nothing in your pocket. Comes razor sharp out of the box! The one negative I notice is that the combination of the pocket clip and the aggressive texturing makes me a little worried about wearing out the edge of my pockets on my less durable shorts or pants. Very interested to see how this works out long term.
