I think that this knife is a dream to carry and use. Plus when deploying the blade it is quite impressive along the sound of it locking in place. In addition they weren't kidding when they said it was lightweight, because when walking or driving its hard to tell its there. I had to put a lanyard on it to aid in my keeping track of it
When the knife arrived, it had a few issues: 1) uneven edge grind 2) poor centering 3) rough/tight pivot action 4) sticky back-lock release I had similar issues with a new delica 4, so not a surprise. After disassembling, lubricating, and reassembling the knife, issues 2-4 had disappeared. After sharpening the knife, issue 1 disappeared (didn't take long with VG-10). The four stars applies to the knife after tune-up. It has a unique combination of blade length, bade thinness, and low weight, and it's quite thin behind the edge. Its action is now surprisingly smooth despite it's lack of liners and washers. The handle is comfortable in several grips, making it easy to use the entire blade for a variety of tasks. Perfect for gardening, cooking, fishing, hiking, etc. It's practically a salt-series knife by default, which is nice around dirt or saltwater. One complaint, though: the smooth area on the center of the handle scales does not extend as far behind the pocket clip as on the Delica, so it has a tendency to catch when you remove it from your pocket. I reduced the tension on the clip, but this didn't completely solve the issue. An aftermarket clip might work better.
This knife has no steel liners, and very over priced for what you get.
