BEAST of a user!
Don't judge this book by it's cover, this knife will blow your mind when you put it to use. I work maintenance in a fab shop and use this for everything! From cutting air hoses, stripping wire, opening packages, breaking down cardboard to cutting up lunch. This spyderco heat treated K390 is absolutely bonkers, its like it never goes dull. It has taken a very light patina in some spots but rust hasnt been an issue at all. The handle is very comfortable with zero hot spots for my hands. The back-lock is very easy to use and my blade falls shut just like all these new fangled button locks do. Can't recommend the Spyderco Leafjumper enough!

Lightweight and slim, with some great design features
If you want a Spyderco to edc that is a little lighter and thinner than something like a PM2 or a Manix, this is it. You have almost as much blade, but cut out of thinner stock, which makes for somewhat better cutting characteristics. The K390 steel will stain and develop a patina, but it is shockingly tough and will stay sharp much longer than most other steels. The K390 is tough enough that you can sharpen the knife to a very acute edge angle without constantly chipping the blade, which allows for even better slicing performance. The FRN handle is not my favorite look, but for usability and toughness it is very hard to beat, and it makes the knife come in a bit cheaper. The plus column of FRN is that you won't hesitate to use the knife because it is too pretty to beat up. This blade has steel liners, which I appreciate - I think the linerless FRN handles feel underbuilt. I also like that this knife has a very short ricasso and doesn't have the annoying forward choil that Spyderco loves to put on knives. Maybe this is a controversial take, but I would basically always prefer an extra 1/2" of blade over being able to put my finger up past the handle of the knife. The lack of choil contributes to this knife having a lot of working edge for a smaller blade.

Excellent mid-sized Spyderco in K390
Very comfortable in the hand, stout hard use knife with crazy tough steel that holds an edge for months. Great knife for dry climates like our Colorado Rocky Mountains. Excellent service from Knife Center too.
