Great little EDC

Great smaller wharny. It's just big enough to be my EDC, but not a big pocket presence. The G-10 has really good texture to it, and the blade shape gives me good thumb placement to put some good pressure on it. If you have massive hands, the handle may be a touch small, but I'm very happy with it.

Beautiful

I’ll just start by saying I know nothing about self defense knife skills. I bought this one on a whim because it called to me. I’m glad that I did. It has the typical rock solid construction that I have come to expect with any of the g10 Spyderco knives. This one has full nested liners which adds to that feeling even further. Right out of the box it was perfect. The action was a little slow but nothing more than anticipated. After a break in period it’s perfect. Perfect blade alignment, lockup, grind and geometry. It’s just perfect in every way. Excels at pull cuts with the wharncliffe. There’s a few tasks that it hasn’t been ideal for, but it still pulled it off. Because of the wharncliffe, the blade punches above its size in terms of length. If feels like a 3” blade in use. I love everything about this knife and will come back for more in the future. When comparing to the rest of the Spyderco lineup it might even be underrated. I think it would make a great platform for some sprint runs in the future.
