Pros: Blade Material, Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Overall Quality, Weight
Cons: Pocket Clip
The best knife for the money and pocket space
Living in Boston, I need to navigate some pretty dumb laws. I can't carry anything bigger than 2.5." That's what initially drew me to this knife for EDC, which involves tasks like cutting cardboard, opening food wrappers, sharpening pencils, et cetera. That said, even without this constraint, this is an excellent option for edc, as it's super light without feeling too cheap, and the blade cuts like there's no tomorrow, and holds an edge for a stupidly long time. Sharpening is tough but not insurmountable. Despite it's size, I can get a comfortable and secure 3.5 finger grip on it with the finger choil. The only negative I have to say is that the pocket clip is a little flimsy, but that's just an issue with Spyderco's wire clip, and, if it does deform, it's easy enough to bend it back with pliers.
