The K390 is superb

I bought this knife on a whim to try the K-390 steel. I carry a LW Chaparral often as one of my "go to" knives. Never thought I would like these little "cheap looking" blades as much as I do, but they just work. The K-390 did not disappoint! Overall I like the Chappy better for design and feel in the hand, but this little blade is serious and with some massaging can become a full user for my rotation.

The best knife for the money and pocket space

Living in Boston, I need to navigate some pretty dumb laws. I can't carry anything bigger than 2.5." That's what initially drew me to this knife for EDC, which involves tasks like cutting cardboard, opening food wrappers, sharpening pencils, et cetera. That said, even without this constraint, this is an excellent option for edc, as it's super light without feeling too cheap, and the blade cuts like there's no tomorrow, and holds an edge for a stupidly long time. Sharpening is tough but not insurmountable. Despite it's size, I can get a comfortable and secure 3.5 finger grip on it with the finger choil. The only negative I have to say is that the pocket clip is a little flimsy, but that's just an issue with Spyderco's wire clip, and, if it does deform, it's easy enough to bend it back with pliers.

Super lightweight

I bought two Spyderco Ladybugs but gave them both to my son-in-laws. So I got this Dragonfly for me. it's super light, extremely sharp and smooth as silk opening. A very easy EDC knife in the pocket or clip used with jeans.

Sharp as a razor

This little knife feels like an Exacto knife when using it- just razor sharp. It has the usual high quality Spyderco features, This wire clip is a little tight, but it's all new, so that's what you would expect. This is an aggressive little knife- easy to carry and well worth the price. It seems to hold this edge- time will tell.

Hmmm...

Well, I guess my real beef is NOT so much the knife, rather, the SIZE. Sure, I read the specs on it... but like most things... seeing is believing! Not only is it a tad smaller than I thought, but THINNER too, hence the 4 stars! Is it sharp? Oh, yes! I know that Spyderco skimped with the handles so that they could give us this type of steel, but... I mean... gee! It almost doesn't feel like a REAL Spyderco! I wonder if the VG-10 is like this one? Maybe I should find out by buying one. If it turns out to be more, shall we say... ROBUST... then I'll know what I need to know! Oh, well. I'll still keep it.
