I bought this knife for the steel, so I'll start there. The material is excellent. I had heard H-1 was nearly rust-proof, but I did't realize just how rust-proof until I carried it in my swimsuit on a three-day trip to a seaside condo. Hours of exposure to seawater and chlorine had no effect that I could see. The steel also holds a great edge. I've had it for about three months now, and it's only just starting to need touching up. The serrations are great. I've gone through more cardboard boxes than I can remember, and the blade chews through half-inch nylon rope like a chainsaw, something I've never seen before in a knife this small. It's not completely perfect, though. The blade picks up fingerprints, and they leave a slight discoloration until you wash it off with water. Not really sure what that's all about. On to the handle. The yellow FRN has an aggressive texturing that provides an excellent grip, and the bright color makes it easy to find if you put it down somewhere, but by the same token it picks up dark dirt easily and has to be cleaned with a toothbrush on occasion. The handles are ridiculously light, which is a plus for carry but not for people who like to have a nice 'weighty' feeling in their knives. The clip is my favorite out of any knife I've ever used. It holds the knife in place but won't tear up a pocket because it touches the handle at the flat oval with the Spyderco logo on it. The knife can be carried almost anywhere; the light weight, small size, and rust-resistant blade means it can be carried while exercising without fear of interfering with movement or rusting from sweat. It can be clipped to the inside of an undergarment if concealability is a concern, but the texture on the handle will be slightly uncomfortable on the skin before you get used to it. Bottom line, the knife is great. I'd only give it a nine out of ten, but that won't stop me from giving it five out of five.
Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening, Blade Material, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
I abuse this knife
This is my EDC Knife. I pry large staples out of cardboard boxes, cut rope and use it as a screw driver. I carry a rat tail Diamond file in the truck to sharpen the serrated blade. I’ve ditched it in the flower pots outside sporting events. I’ve slipped it past TSA. It looks like hell but it is the best small knife I have ever owned.
I really love the sharpness and compactness of the knife and blade; however, this does make it a little small for my hand to comfortalby use everytime. I do love the compactness and weight of it; I can carry it places my Native won't work in - for example, I can put it on my running shorts with no feeling of an overbearing weight on the waist as I jog. Excellent knife.
Before getting this knife I've always liked small knives so I bought it knowing it was small. Even with the small size it fits in my hand perfect for me having larger hands. I really like the jimping on the blade for the thumb and index finger. It gives you a great grip on the knife. I have only used the knife for opening boxes, cutting cardboard, and have used it to cut carpet and it works great for everything. The H1 steel does show marks on the blade a bit but that's not a big deal to me. Overall it is a great little knife. Fits well in the hand, cuts great with the serrated edge, easy to open and close. I would definitely recommend this knife to someone needing a knife for any everyday kind of cutting.
Pros: Ease of Opening, Handle Material, Blade Material, Blade Sharpness

Good Knife
I purchased this knife specifically for the H1 blade since I didn't have a knife of that blade material yet. The knife has a very light feel to it and is a great size to carry around. I was surprised with how sharp the knife was right out of the box. I actually gave myself a small "paper cut." Overall, good knife.
Overall is great but the size is too small , hope they have a large version .
