Was skeptical at first, but ended up being fairly impressed. Took using it a couple times to get into the correct rhythm. It is a simple and effective design. Was able to achieve pretty good edges in a short amount of time. I think this is perfect for quick edge maintenance. It is easy to stow and take places if needed. Depending on blade shape, I suggest to be aware or use caution when it comes to the tip of blade (dragging/rolling off or angle change). Another great product I would recommend. And KC is amazing as always - thank you!

Most interesting sharpener Spyderco makes
What an interesting fine stone to own. The flats, curves and grooves perform on any number of blade types and shapes. Try this on your fine recurves. Spyderco ceramic is what I rely on for all edges. The size of this 'Golden Stone' is larger then I need but still an amazing stone to own. It may seem expensive, but will last for years and still stay flat on the flats and nice curves on the edge. Get one!

A really quality sharping polishing stone.
This Spyderco Golden Stone is a quality product, really makes keeping your blade razor "or better then razor" sharp. It is designed to fit all types of blades it's a great addition to my sharpening stone collection. If it was not a quality product the Knife Center would not be selling them.
