Kind of a caricature of a typical spyderco folder , a little wider, a little more blade/ handle offset, but it all comes together beautifully with excellent grip and very slick action, I couldn't be happier with this knife! I'm a quality control specialist by profession and this is the best example of QC I've seen in a factory made knife!
I bought the Lil'Temperance after seeing the video review here at the KnifeCenter website. I wanted a solid everyday carry and this is it. Very sharp and I love the serrated edge. I use it for cutting boxes mostly. As I said the knife has some heft and the blade is a thick hunk of VG-10 steel. I love it. It isn't cheap at approx $150 bucks, but it feels great in your hand and it's a Syperco, after all. Of course, as the Dude would say, "That's just your opinion, man." But I'm sticking to it. (could be a little tough to open or I have weak fingers).
Where has this knife been all my life. It looks a bit weird in its proportions, but then, you put it in your hand and realize why it works. I got the VG10 Serrated Version, and it’s perfect. I carry it every day now. It’s a stout thick blade with a nice, durable tip. Not too thin or fragile, so you don’t have to baby it. Can do some real work. The steel is a good all- rounder. The serrations make short work of anything. The thick, wide blade offsets its short length. The handle is a perfect 4 finger grip, and aligns my thumb to the spidie-hole naturally. Compression lock works well, with a snappy, solid lock up. I can’t stress enough how much this knife works for me. I always overlooked it due to the weird proportions, but that was clearly a mistake. The size, dimensions, and handle work well together. I’ll get it in other configurations and steels. It’s a winner.
