Good EDC Hawkbill

Over all I like the knife and it is in my new edc rotation. The pros for me are that it came razor sharp, is very comfortable to hold and carry, light weight, and looks cool. Cons would be that the finish on the blade is uneven and the opening hole is uncomfortable to use because it is not contoured/beveled on the edge like my other Spyderco knives. I would recommend this knife if you're looking for a modern hawkbill knife.

Insanely sharp

Insanely sharp out of the box. A little side to side blade wobble. The handles are a little too orange almost a neon orange. Overall im a happy customer.

Terrible satin brush on these,

The brushed satin finish on these go in opposite directions towards the bottom of the blade and stands out bad.... looks nothing like the finish on my two yellow ones from the first design ... I bought two of these orange sprint versions and both have this terrible cross brushed satin screw up towards the bottom of the blade... I thought it was just a lemon but when the other one came from another distributor I saw that it’s just how they are letting them leave the Spyderco factory nowadays.... so sad ... it really looks like a half a** job

A nippy ripper

Shreds 550 but will chew your fingers if you dig for it in your pocket.
