great blade shape

This knife will be my companion during the next hunting season. Too big to be an EDC knife but perfect for gutting and skinning chores. I wonder how this VG-10 knife performs as the Bill Moran Fixed Blade seems to be a little difficult to handle. But we`ll see. So far all is perfect. It opens fast, closes smoothly, came sharp out of the box, feels as if my hands were made for it (or maybe the other war round) and as choking up is favored by the design edge control is awesome. Thanks to knifecenter I can handle it until this year´s first rhoe buck will cross my way. It came fast and all questions were answered immediately and to my full satisfaction.

Probably the finest quality folding knife available at this price! The VG10 steel remains razor sharp. I don't know how easy it is to sharpen yet because it does not need sharpening. I use this as my EDC knife. Some people think it is a little large, but you never know when you might have to use it to defend yourself! This is my second Spyderco product and I would recommend their Company to anyone that needs quality cutlery. Knife Center is the "Best".

An All-Arounder

The FRN Stretch is a superb addition to the already excellent Spyderco lineup! For those who can't afford, or wish not to spend more on the ZDP/Carbon Fiber Stretch, the FRN Stretch is an excellent choice. The handle shape is excellent, even for large hands. The grips allowed by the handle shape lend themselves well to a myriad of tasks, whether it be hunting or yeoman duties. For me, the classic Delica & Endura have taken a backseat to the FRN Stretch as of late, I can't imagine a better folder for me. The VG-10 steel is a wonderful blend of edge retention, strength and corrosion resistance. And, the full flat grind is whats needed for pure cutting efficiency. Thanks Spyderco!

I have 2 of these, plain and serrated. Both are regular EDC's. Not the prettiest knife ever... that's the only negative thing I can say. Perfect ergonomics, perfect jimping, ideal blade size (IMHO), super sharp OTB, very light weight. If I could only own 1 pocket knife, this would be it.

This is a great EDC i enjoy having a little extra blade, but wish it was g10 and have a wire pocket clip

Awesome

I carry this knife everday. I was able to put a notch at the thumbhole to allow wave feature drawing. This knife is light enough to forget about but big enough to use a self defense weapon. Very easy to sharpen and hold the edge fairly well. the grips and jimping are fantastic as is the shape of the handle. my only complaint ist the clip. when they put a hole in it they created a weak spot. I have already broken one that I snagged on a door as I brushed by. However spyderco replaced it at no cost. But this knife and you won't be dissapointed
