Great knife
I carry it as a self defense knife. The Emerson opener works great and Byrd knives makes great blades. I have owned a Byrd years ago and the production of the blades is great and 8cr13mov is not a bad steel. If your thinking about get a knife with a Emerson opener try this one out.

Love this knife. I carry it as a self defense knife and a back up to my home gun. It has one of the best Emerson opener that I have ever bought on a budget knife. I got ever I asked for out of this knife. And will be carrying it until the day it breaks. Love it.
