Great knife

Ordered and received in quick time - usual quick service from KnifeCenter. However this review is about the knife. Love the steel on this knife - sharpens easily and takes a great edge. What I love the most is the balance point - balances right at the forefinger which make the knife feels quick and nimble in the hand. The next thing on my list is the shape of the blade. Blade shape makes it a good slicer and skinning knife. Thin knife and light weight overall makes it comfortable when carrying on the belt. The knife shows typical Spyderco quality.

Great knife

This is a slim knife so feels good in the palm, it has a feel like no other because of its heavy slim feel. The blade came super sharp right out of the box, I use it for cutting wood mostly and it does a good job at that.

Good knife—but slight rust issues in salty areas

Much to like about this knife. The blade design, sharp edge, good slicer, tubes in the handle, sheath, full tang, and the sale price. It is light weight, although the scales are a bit thin and slab-like in order to limit weight. This would make a great camp knife. I have been using it as an alternative kitchen knife lately.... I live in the Pacific Northwest, where it is damp, and has lots of ocean salt in the air. This place is the worse place for knives—I never had rust problems in Colorado or Minnesota, but here I do. I noticed some slight rust blemishes on the knife, even with hand washing and drying immediately. I incorrectly thought it was more of a stainless blade. Of course rust can happen to my other knives here too. Gotta keep blades oiled here. Probably not much of a rust problem if you live elsewhere, or if you do a bit more to protect it after use.
