Petite Powerhouse

I admit some bias as a Spyderco fan, and I have given this knife the full 5 stars, but I admit it's not perfect. The handle is nearly too small for my hands, and I tend towards size small gloves. I can just barely get all my fingers in the grip. It's a comfortable grip nonetheless, but I understand why some folks might give it a ding in that area. I'd give it a 9/10 if possible. Chalk that last star up to my little mitts, I guess. I don't have any other knives in 7Cr17, but the factory edge on my example has held up well so far. The most I've done is touch it up a couple times with a fine ceramic rod. I have cut vegetables, plastic packaging, cardboard, paper, and fruit with the knife so far, and it handles most small jobs with relative ease. It's very satisfying to zip through fibrous stuff like celery, and if I needed a knife for the home bar, this would be my choice for dealing with citrus. If Spyderco made a slightly larger version of the Counter Puppy (Counter Hound?) to accommodate a broader range of hands, they'd have a 10/10 on their hands. I love mine and I want a few more in my collection. I am curious about the plain edge version and am eager to try it out when I get the chance.
