This is an excellent carry outside of home knife. I love ZDP-189 steel.

Best knife I've ever owned!

This is the best knife I have ever owned. It has permanently knocked all my other EDC's out of rotation. If you want a practical tool knife, with a reliable lock, world-class steel, that disappears in your pocket and doesn't break the bank; this knife has no competition. If you want to impress your "tacticool" friends, this is probably not the knife for you. It weighs less than an ounce, but it does 99% of the tasks I need it to do. Having carried it for a month, I look at all of my other larger and heavier EDC knives and wonder "what was I thinking"?

Get bandaids

Razor Sharp . To find a factory knife sharp enough to suit me is a rarity. This little jewel came sharp and holds an edge well. To me this is an essential EDC. And it won't scare the little old ladies if you need to use it in public GREAT LITTLE KNIFE!!!

Spyderco LadyBug with ZDP-189

These small knives fromSpyderco are amazeing when you consider the premium steel and workmanship that goes into each knife. I would wager that they will perform as well as any of the super priced semi-customs knives on the market. The LadyBug,DragonFly and magnificent Cricket are knives that will shock you their quality.

Great key ring knife

Great knife to have on your key ring for simple cutting needs. Has the same quality as the Spyderco Delica. just smaller.

ZDP-189 cuts like a knife should cut

The ZDP-189 steel is much sharper than the 440C or AUS8 of some of my other knives. I have had my 440C of another brand professionally sharpened twice. It has never come close to the sharpness that this Ladybug had straight out of the box. This is my first FRN handle. I appreciate the lack of weight, but it does have a feel that you have to get used to.

The least expensive way I know to experience the benefits of ZDP-189 steel: exceptional edge retention, sharp and the blade is flexible.

Prime EDC

This is my first spyderco with frn handle, and I love it. There are so many good things about this little bug, no blade play, nice firm grip, handle does not shrink when pressed hard and ease of one hand opening. Of course the blade is wonderful, razor sharp out of the box, staying very sharp after several box cutting and wood carving. It is smaller than I thought, but with a little piece of leather lanyard, it is a perfect edc folder. I would love to try manbug too but until then this would be always with me.

Perfect NKP-friendly blade

You really can't ask for a better package in terms of non-threatening cutting performance. The ZDP is ZDP so the edge lasts a long time. The FFG makes it a wonderful slicer for clam shell packaging etc. The small stature and purplish hue makes it perfect for the lady in your life, and the spyderhole makes it easy to open. I love this little knife.

Tough, Sharp, Compact Knife

ZDP-189 Steel is very tough and sharp. Blade stays sharp for a long time. One handed opening and closing is very convenient. I purchased this knife for my son and decided to get another one for me.

Tiny but solid

I keep this on my keyring to always have something unoffensve with me. It is crazy sharp (as is expected from spyderco), and the full flat grind is great. I love the color on the FRN handle; it's rich but subdued. The only minor cimplaint is this: the handle is miniscule. This isn't too much of an issue for actual cutting tasks, but if you try to open it one-handed and have even moderately large hands, there's a chance it'll slide out of your hand and fly across the room (it's almost always still closed, but.... not optimal). Now that it's on my keyring, this isn't an issue; the keys effectively extend the handle to the point that it's still possible to maintain good conrol of the knife. In short, if you're looking for a small keyring/non-scary knife to keep on you for all those little cutting tasks that crop up throughout the day, this knife is one that you should seriously consider.

Indispensable

This thing has the best cutting power / encumbrance ratio I've ever seen. It weights nothing, slices through anything like butter, and seems to hold its edge very well. It's always on my keychain, I don't notice I have it until I need it. Operates smoothly and locks solid with no blade play at all. Ergos and quality are excellent. It looks like a toy but is surprisingly serviceable. Great product.
