Ridiculously cool
Balisong knife without blood (at least yours); but then, the pen is mightier than the sword. My nits: Pen point is not retractable. You must screw the cap forward or back. There is no "latch." The handles flop around when using it as a pen. You look ridiculous signing anything after performing a magnificent flourish to open it. Picks: Appropriate for almost any male any age. Ten bucks. Too cool not to have for yourself.

Fun, different, definately Unique
It is very light and I imagine the 40 dollar one is heavier. It is not as brittle as some have described. as far as writing it is not too good, but its a great conversation starter.

Spyderco pen
Well the pen writes well but if your looking to actually use the pen to do anything other than write forget about it. The one side of the handle cracked in the first few minutes of just checking it out. And I wasn't flipping it hard at all. If your interested in purchasing this I would think twice.
