New Favorite

Love the action. Love the deploy methods. Fit and finish is great. Even fits my big hands. This was also the sharpest knife I think I've ever carried right out of the box.

Elegant and simple

A beautifully simple design executed perfectly. Such a well built knife for the price. I’d like to see a model 3/4” shorter but really zero complaints. I’m going to order the white one also. I don’t need it but I gotta.

The Palfrey Flipper Knife

It has become my most favorite EDC knife. It is built with extreme perfection. Came sharp, looks great, especially in all black, in 14C28N steel blade, flips open with ease, no thumb studs. I like one or the other but don't prefer both. Liner lock is so smooth to operation and feels perfect in the hand with it's excellent yet simple handle design. Blade shape is perfect. Such must good craftsmanship and overall care in making it the perfect EDC. Knife blade shape works perfectly for every normal daily tasks that might need a precision cutting tool. I highly recommend all SRM's products. They are moving up rapidly and I can only hope they don't abandon the budget minded knifer's out there and not fall in with so many overthetop, outrageous knife jewelry designs that cost a normal person a fortune, that amounts to not carrying, for fear of losing a months worth of capital in the blink of an eye. Kudos to SRM. Keep em coming and keep them sensibly affordable. Please.

Great knife, love it.

I got two, one for my girlfriend and one for myself. We both love these knives; they came very sharp from the factory and are holding their edge pretty well. The build quality, especially for the price, is impressively good. Maybe the best knife I have bought for a while.

Impressive Flip Knife

I just received the black G10 Flipper Knife. Long wait for delivery, but first impressions are very positive and I am glad I bought a few more for friends. The flip action is easy to master, and the blade is very sharp. I also like the pocket spring clip; just the right amount of spring force. Recommend closing it slowly. Very glad I bought the Flipper Knife; likely to purchase more.

Serves its purpose reasonably well

Bought it for slim overall package ( approaching a Gent's knife, but with more beef) and blade profile (goodly amount of straight edge for slicing). Appreciate the light weight. It's no bush crafter, but seems to have sufficient substance for non-vigorous daily use. Blade wasn't razor sharp out of the box, but quickly took a very good edge with a few swipes on a ceramic rod. Will need more time to assess how long it holds this edge. Having trouble adjusting to flipper style, as all my other folders are assisted Kershaws. Still, when I concentrate, it opens adequately. Could just as easily chalk it up to operator error, but I'd enjoy a bit more surface to work with on the opening portion. I appreciate the overall slimness, as it will fit into the same pocket with an EDC firearm, while not impeding its draw from the holster. My other folders can't be accommodated in this way. Clip is minimalist, but quite secure: I like the design.
