Excellence on a budget!
As someone who needs to cut down boxes everyday, This knife has preformed well, I haven't had it long enough to judge the highly touted 140CR steel, but it came razor sharp out of the box & I strop my blades after every day of use whether the need it or not. Today, it's as sharp as the day it arrived. Really like the look, main reason I picked this one (besides the 140CR). The red liners, black hardware/blade, really make the "Ivory" handle pop. The Ambi-bar lock release, pivot, ceramic bearings make it a pleasure to open & close. Locks up tight with no wobble side to side or up & down. I haven't, and probably won't move around the easy release pocket clip, as I prefer right hand, tip-up carry. (boxed in that configuration). The handle is roomy & comfortable for most tasks. I wouldn't expect it to feel great in a bushcraft situation - but if it needs be, you'd just have to grin & bear it. I haven't found any hotspots in my usage. My only knock would be the G10 is smooth, and people with extremely dry hands like me might prefer a more textured grip. However, it's not so slick where it'll squirt out of your hand - just secure you grip when cutting down boxes. That's it! Great Value, effective, looks great. Grab yourself one
