Great filet knife

I am very pleased so far with the knife. I charter fish and clean a lot of fish. I like how easy it is to put an edge back on the blade with a sharpening steel. Great product.

The BEST fillet knife I've seen.

My knife arrived razor sharp, has a good heft and good grip. I did not care much for the plastic type sheath, however in a wet climate or working at a fish factory, it would be good.

One of the best big fish fillet knife

I have been searching for a knife that would stay sharp enough to fillet a limit of grouper (24 for six people) without resharpening three times to complete the task. I also needed the blade to be flexable enough to remove the skin completely without creating a "fishermans nightmare". The SKFF9 fit the bill wonderfully. After using the knife I realize it will take a little time to get used to the different handle (from the R knife I am used to )and the additional care it will take to care for the non stainless steel blade , but after using it I realize its well worth the effort to change.I will be ordering more. Knife Center did a great job getting the knife to me and the price cant be beat.
