Pros: Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None

A pleasant peasant knife.

These knives are sharp right out of the package. After a few uses, I decided to give it a few strokes on a strop. It is now one of the sharpest knives that I own. I found a Youtube video that explained how ro adjust the two screws so that it is safe to carry and easy to open. It's in my pocket now!

I call it Banana

I rated this little yellow gem a 5 because the function and build is a little more than what I expected for such an inexpensive knife. What I didn't expect is the cool factor. It's one of those things where it's so far from the norm that it's just plain cool. I'm also certain 99% of the manufacturing cost is the blade, it isn't a disappointment, and it's sharp I plan to use it as a garden harvest knife. If it works well, I'll order a few more. I don't think it will find a place in the EDC rotation, but I'm sure it'd be a conversation starter if I did. Pros: Blade, unique deployment, unique in general, simple, light, easy to deploy/retract while wearing gloves, lifetime warranty, color selection, not made in China Cons: Zytel frame/scales feels a little cheap in hand, design and function might be a little too far outside the norm for some

Pros: Ease of Opening, Overall Quality
Cons: Handle Feel

Good, all around knife

I bought this knife to use while I'm working around the yard (cutting open bags of mulch, cutting twine, etc.), and I have been extremely pleased with it. It does not have a locking mechanism, which in this case is what I was looking for. You can open and close it with gloves on, which is a plus. There is a screw that is easy to tighten/loosen to make the blade easier/more difficult to open/close, so there isn't a danger of the knife opening in your pocket and you stabbing yourself as you're reaching into your pocket to retrieve it. Or, at least that hasn't happened to me! The handle itself is a little lightweight, but it seems durable. I've only had it a couple weeks, but I've been using it pretty much non-stop, and as stated, have been pleased with it. It keeps an edge reasonably well, at least as to be expected for a knife at this price-point. I could definitely buy another knife from Svord.

A no BS knife

A no nonsense, cheap knife not made in China. Carbon steel blade holds a decent edge. I like feel of Zytel better than aluminum handles. Would be willing to pay a little extra for more refined finish, but then it wouldn't be a peasant knife!
