Lots of characters and presence

Very nice outdoors and collectible knife. Would be a good fighter, too, if we still fought with knives. Lots of presence and character. Nice back story of von Tempsky and the Forest Rangers. Came paper cutting sharp. Barely shaves hair but that is due to the acute edge angle. False edge is sharpened. Handle is comfortable. Weight is reasonable even though the blade is very thick. Finish is intentionally historically crude and still masterfully done. Sheath has the stud so you can just stick it under your belt or inside the pants. The blade shape is racier than the Svord Bowies. This will be my favourite hiking and Cowboy Action dress knife.

Svord VTF Von Tempsky Fighter Fixed Blade Knife

The Svord VTF Von Tempsky Fighter fixed blade knife Is an excellent example of the old style fighter's knife being made of EN45 carbon steel with a with a drop point blade, Wenge Wood Handles, and a heavy duty leather sheath. This knife has a good feel in the hand, with the weight that is not to heavy. The the knife handle is comfortable and easy to hold on to. The sheath is made of heavy duty black leather with a belt loop, belt page, knife snap, and heavy duty sewing. It should last you a life time, and serve you well.

The entire experience was quick, intuitive and easy Shipping was pretty fast and my Svord fighter knife is everything I’d hoped it would be. Honestly the only complaint I have was writing this review and all the “demands” I had to meet to post it. A minor complaint-for sure
