The only karambit I use.
-Knife is a solid workhorse. -Scales are comfortable and hold up well. -Sheath is fantastic. -Price/Value is fantastic Been using this karambit as a EDC and workknife/garden tool for about a month now. Knife is solid and holds up to work. The sheath is fantastic and allows for normal & reverse grip draw for both left & right hand users due to the belt clip being able to be taken off and put on the opposite side. For right handed reverse grip drawing I suggest carrying on right hip with sheath between pant and belt and belt clip on outside of belt. For right handed normal grip draw I suggest switching belt clip to opposite side of sheath and carrying on front of body with sheath inside of pant and belt clip between pant and belt. For left handed drawing just do opposite of right hand. These options brace the sheath and allow for an easy one handed draw. The sheath does have a "pressure point" for lack of better word for the thumb for drawing the knife in normal grip but it is unnecessary if the sheath is braced and knife is drawn correctly. I've found that drawing a hawkbilled knife isn't so much of upwards pull but more of a downwards push. This makes the knife almost "roll" out of the sheath. One thing I have yet to do with this knife is sharpen it. I don't think I have any experience with 8Cr so we will see how it goes. I just ordered some sharpening rods.
