Light weight and soild

Sharp right out of the box. A solid knife that feels great in the hand. Comfortable and light weight. My concern is the handle material. After a few removals from the well built sheath have resulted in some of the handle material lightly coming off. May have to contact the manufacture.

Knife good, sheath bad

I absolutely love this knife. The handle feels comfortable in my hand in both the forward saber grip or reverse grip. The zytel is a great grip for the handle. It does flake off a bit on the hilt whenever you sheathe or unsheathe this knife, I expect this wear and tear with use. The blade itself is sturdy but needed to sharpening when I first opened the box, it couldn't shave hair off of my arm. The butt end is solid and could crack a skull if needed. I don't see much use of the lanyard hole unless you are wrapping paracord around the handle for some reason. This sheathe is terrible. The description said that the belt clip was ambidextrous and is removable. The problem I encountered was that the screws holding the clip in place would NOT come undone. The screws I COULD access inside the sheathe kept spinning in place. The other side of the screw is under the belt clip through a small hole none of my screwdrivers could not access. The clip isn't even a clip, it's a closed loop that is a few millimeters thin. I couldn't get any of my belts to go through the loop so I can't even carry this knife on my actual person. I will only be able to strap this bad boy to a backpack by using the slots on the sides. I'm rating this knife 4 out of 5 because the sheathe alone was a huge disappointment. This is a great quality knife but try to look for a replacement sheathe if you decide to buy it, I know I will. I wish that better pictures or a better description were available before purchasing. One paragraph about the knife itself and four paragraphs about Taylor Brands. Why?

Great knife

I love the design, material and strength. I also love that the handle is rubbery which makes it easy to grip, but the one I received looked a little worn already, and the sheath fit well but rattles if shaken. It also came dull out of the box and will have to be sharpened. Otherwise I would recommend.
