A good sturdy knife

Had this for two years now and aside from scuffs and nicks it has survived my everyday adventures.

Starter Knife

There is nothing really wrong with this knife, but also nothing exciting about it except the price. It's fairly light (aluminum). It has a decent hand-feel/grip. It is a combo blade, which at least makes it a bit versatile. It's got a tactical look but it's relatively compact, if not a little short-bladed. For self-defense purposes you probably would not want a smooth aluminum handle. I would say this is a good knife to practice sharpening on, and for general EDC purposes on a serious budget. I had to oil the detent to be able to flip the knife open (flipper or thumb stud opening).

Cons: Lock Ease of Use

Threw it in trash

The action is stiff, and didn't break in after months, even when lubed. Had to loosen pivot screw to get it to flip even with an aggressive wrist snap. Aslo the liner lock goes all the way to the opposite side, making it a finger killer to close. Worst knife I ever bought, can't believe these positive reviews. They have gotta be fake. I have 2 M&P Bodyguard knives that are both great, but this "extreme ops" knife became the first knife I ever threw away.
