Am a very happy user of the Odin, the Njord
Am a very happy user of the Odin, the Njord, and the Frey, and I am not easily pleased. Peter, the happy family man behind the concept of the Northern Lights series, is a genuine artist, both in developing a great idea, and creating it. These are the finest knives I ever held, and without abuse, will last me my lifetime. These knives are not mass produced, but are hand produced, please bear that in mind when you see the price. What you pay for is what you get. The sheath is top quality leather, and a fitting compliment to the knife. Now to the down side,( there always is one). The convex edge Peter extols, see no evidence of it, all three knives had a different cutting angle, reasonably sharp, but not to my standard. Takes about 30 mins on Spyderco sharpemaker, this is one tough steel. Now it glides through a sheet of A4 as though it not there, after months of use and no sharpening, still does, rest my case.
