i found the tip a bit thick, so I gave it blunt false egg. The sheet is compact, easy to clean, very practical, but a bit noisy, I glued a piece of fabric on the outside, uggly but functional. Had a tendency to crack the edge if you cut into bones or smash it into bones. However, that problem is less or nothing with time (perhaps something to do with the edge from the factory). Blade shape bad for batoning. the knife is really sharp and stays sharp for at least skinning and slaughter one moose (edge retention and sharpeness is superb, best knife I own in this context). Handy shape for hunting, long enough for cutting bigger peaces of meat in the wild (5 inches blade) instead of the common in sweden with 2-3 (4) inches where most people use a second knife for the slaughter or just leave it to a proffessional, but still easy to gut with. easy to maneovuer while skinning and skinns really well. Seperate joints excellent, at least after my false edge where done. Also surpringly god for preparing fish like cod. Over all a really good dedicated hunting knife that stays sharp and is a joy to handle for butchering, but not the upsweep shape is less good for all kinds of batoning and really not god for chopping even if the knife is heavy enough for shopping small branches and ribs. I think you should head for s1 if you want a similar sized more general knife from fällkniven, but for mainly hunting (as the name implies) this is a very good choice if you want a solid thick jointbreaking knife. Easy to sharpen. The handle is very grippy and nonslippery and nice when it is cold. it is a short handle that makes the knife compact with good controll but it does not add much of a leverage.
