pros:This edged tool is very well made. assisted opening is smooth and fast. Razor sharp right out of the box. There are holes to make a lanyard. Traction on the side of the frame for better retention. Cons: Heavy, does not have a sleek design. Jimping is present on the top "front and back" and bottom "front" but is not functional. "dull" All in all I would purchase this blade again. It is currently used as my EDC blade and I don't mind the bulky weightyness of it.

I have used this blade at work for some time,And it's still holding up!The blade can hold a razor edge pretty darn good! The speed of the blade has not changed since I've owned it.I'm impressed!

I use this as an everyday carrier and it's amazing. The blade is the perfect length and textured grip feels much better than I expected, the switch on the back to allow you to open with you index finger is very convenient and I just love everything about this knife.

Pro's - Good size, great grip, looks great, opens fast and if treated right will achieve a very sharp edge perfect EDC because you can use the crap out of it and not feel bad because of the reasonable price, Con's - edge doesn't hold very long (razor sharp cutting but will have to sharpen regularly) cheap coating (the coating on the blade and the body will chip an flake with hard use, but for the price that's fine) I made a kydex belt sheath for mine was very easy because of the great design shape of the knife.

Pros: Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Handle Material
great knife
I use this knife for work. It is very durable and opens with ease. The grip is just like grip tape on a skateboard or similar to a coarse sand paper, great grip but over use without gloves will chew up you hands a bit. Can cause wear on fabric while inside of a pocket. Overall a great knife.

I had the Silver model for about 4 years before I lost it on a camping trip. This is a great knife, I got the black model because it looked cooler. I wish I had gone silver again though, while the black knife looks cooler initially, after taking years of dings I can tell it will look worse, whereas the silver model you can't really tell it is dinged as the entire knife is silver, not painted. This is a great knife though, not overly heavy, but not too light, feels like it and can do heavier jobs. After awhile the black grip wears off from being in your pocket, but then it is just smooth and still easy to grip (the black just smooths out, doesnt all wear off, so it isn't noticeable.)

Great knife - Fell in love with this assisted opening. As a Firefighter I carry this thing every day and works great! The only drawbacks are that with heavy use and abuse that I give it, the black paint is chipping off exposing the aluminum frame and the grip tape is wearing off after two years with lots of heavy use. Other than that -Love It - and will definitely buy again!

I paid $49.99 for mine. Yeah, that a bit steep but I walked out the door with it. I can't put the darn thing down. like a kid with a new toy. I like it a lot...

Member of the fire department and Urban search and rescue task force. The handle design and material make it easy to hold and operate in tight spaces with and without gloves. It is a slight challenge closing the blade

Pros: Ease of Opening
Cons: Handle Feel, Handle Material
I loved my first run swat knife
I use this knife just like you would probably expect.Paper rope boxes. It opens pretty good, and basically is sharp out of the box. I dont know why there is sandpaper on the handle.I think its gonna ruin my pants this is a very inexpensive knife and thats what you get GOOD CHEAP KNIFE

Pros: Weight, Ease of Opening
Cons: Pocket Clip
I think I haf the same ptoblem as Joseph. The lever on the back was only secured with glue on one side and broke off within the first 4 hours. I kept the knife anyways and just grinded the small metal piece off and just pushed it open and then let the spring take over. So it wasn't really a big deal, though i would have preferred to keep it the way i bought it. My pocket clip screws also kept coming loose and eventually wouldnt hold at all after about 3 years.

They Must Be High
The first knife shipped arrived broken: assisted-open handle fell out of the box, and the second knive was not the black version that I ordered.

I liked my Smith & Wesson Knife, however I do not have one anymore! My Knife's auto operning device broke. I returned it and you sent me "another one". It appeared to be the same one, at least the same thing was wrong with it. Upon talking to Steven in customer service, he apparently did not believe what I told him. He kept trying to tell me how to use the knife. I'm not supid I knew exacly how it worked. He said all of them were like that. Not correct or you would have a LOT of unsatisfied customers. He told me to return it again so I did. He suggested getting a different kind of Knife. I do not want to do that, but I guess I have no choice now since he would not replace it again! If I do get another one it WILL not be from the knife center. I'm sorry this happened because I really would have liked to had the S & W knife. Ask Steven about this he knows he upset me, I believe.
