8 inch throwing knives

I have been throwing knives for 70 years and this are without doubt the best. I have had to dull the sharpness all but the points so not to cut fingers. You have done this and it was appreciated . Balance was very good and you can fell the steel in your hands. I have the 8 inch ones now looking for the 10inches for my birthday.

Smith & Wesson TK8 6-Pack of 8" Throwing Knives, Nylon Sheath

Wow! Ok so as yet they are still in their sheath but I am way happy with them. Sharp enough not to kill me as I am a beginner, feel great in the hand. What a bargain! Hope the tips stay as is and don't bend but time will tell. So far so good and I'm well happy!

Good balance and penetration. Excellent for practicing knife throwing. Good durability.

I ordered 2 packs of the 8 inch and 2 of the 10 inch. Easier to get better in groupings when more throws can be done per set. Was reasonable value for the money. Was as described. Only complaint is the metal a little soft and have had 2 tips break off at 1/4 inch with the 8's, none so far with the 10's. It is nice that they can be thrown without having asymmetry to the handle, throw them as they are picked up with either side up.

Not for beginners

They are great knives, but I bought them to teach a beginner. I like the fact that I can buy a six-pack at a great price, but I purchased 2 packs a month ago and six of the knives are already broken. These are not for beginners.

One broke on third throw

Like the throwing knives but one broke on the third throw. It broke hitting the made wooden target from 15 feet away. Was disappointed to see that they were made in China. I had assumed that being Smith & Wesson would be made in US. Didn't say China in the ad. Seem to be great balance but it broke way to easily on a weak spot near a hole. Frustrating.
