Sentry's Top quality product used to clean stubborn stains while displacing moisture and grime. Often used by special forces to keep knives, tools, guns, etc.. in good order while operating in the worse types of environments!

Not a Marine but live next to some

Live within a mile of the Pacific and get plenty of salt fog from the surf. Have used this for a couple years on all my carbon steel knves, machetes and edged garden tools. No muss, fuss or rust anymore! Zipper on pouch failed after a year or so...now I use a chip clip to reseal the bag. Have redampened a couple times with mineral oil and it still keeps working. Would recommend getting the coth in a jar for home and pouch for field.

the best insurance

I use to spend a lot of time in and out of the sea. I wish this product was available then.I still encounter wet and salt water conditions and this product is all it's says it is. Used as directed and also whenever you are prepping kit, especially after sharpening edges or the final touch for weapons I can think of nothing better to protect the gear thats going to protect me. I also suggest the use of other sentry products in conjunction. No this is not a paid ad but they did give me this "swell"toy knife.

The dry lubricant cloth is very practical for wiping down knives and firearms without the residue and mess of other lubs.

Works as advertised

Use on carbon steel knives, works great. I live in Louisiana where humidity is a big factor. Water beads and rolls right off, product leaves a tough, non oily surface. Only downside is minor streaking on uncoated knife blades, however; this is better than rust and pitting! I applied under the scales of my uncoated ESEE knife to stop unseen rust and corrosion.
