Really Slick
A thin coat on all the moving surfaces produces a very smooth glide in semi-auto guns. When used in the barrel, groups tighten up, although be sure to buff the chamber since I have had the first couple of rounds hang up and refuse to extract if just brushed on and left. No problem after the case buffs the surface with following rounds. I do find the parts run smoother with a tiny amount of oil on top. Movement can displace the dry film. Apparently, a bit of oil can carry enough Smooth Kote to keep it working. This stuff is great to paint the walls of magazines so the rounds move better. It was applied to the entire inner surface. The instructions are basically nonexistent. One tip, the surface needs to completely cleaned of oil. The carrier solvent is only ethanol, so will not clean a good surface
