Ellis folding knife with scissors.

The Ellis folding pocket knife is almost perfect for my needs. I think the blade itself could be slightly higher grade steel but that said the knife so far holds an edge and is very usable and useful. The scissors are excellent, by far the best I have ever used on any little folding knife. I wish they opened a little wider though. The assembly and craftsmanship of this knife is excellent and all of the functions the knife offers except for one are excellent as well. However, the so-called screwdriver/prybar at the end of the knife I could do without, it is pretty useless. In fact, I cut that off and ground it down smooth so there is no trace of it ever existing on the knife and for me it is now perfect. The spring clip on the side is nice and strong and though it was not intended for use with money it makes an excellent money clip. My main complaint about this knife really isn’t about its quality and craftsmanship but more on the lines of price. I do not believe this is $120 knife. I would’ve been much happier around the $75 mark. I carry this knife with me every single day and it by far exceeds my old Victorianox, Swiss Army knife. This Ellis knife is pretty much as simple as it gets with a couple basic functions and any man worth his spit can get most things done with just this simple knife. I would recommend this knife to anybody who’s looking for simplicity and craftsmanship all in one. And I would probably own another one if the price were a little bit less. Thanks
