Another American Legend
I don't know where to begin. This knife out of the box is stunning. It is exceptionally sharp; Tanks should be built like this. NO s**t! The saw RIPS through 8" logs. I now need a new knife dummy, as I trashed it all to pieces. This is a true field/defense knife that LITERALLY does it all! The balance is outstanding. The blade is perfect. I'm not fond of Micarta, but this handle is cut and finished superbly. I was able to wield this baby with precision, and my right arm has only a 50% range of motion from a nasty accident. I live in the mountains where coydogs, and rouge ex-meth pitbull guard dogs run loose. The sheath is NOT leather, but there is ZERO slop in the knife's slot chamber. The sheath is Velcro sans buttons for quick deployment. I'm a former spec ops supply petty officer and a former platoon leader in an MP Batallion. I would go into battle with this, no questions asked. Knife Center delivered this in 3 days flat. If you don't care for it, Knife Center will CHEERFULLY take it back. This is easily better than my Cold Steel San Mai III, and AT LEAST as good as my TWICE as expensive RMJ!! This TOPS Knife receives my 5 stars and best wishes. MADE IN AMERICA baby.! My ultimate field knife.

Best woods knife available
I take this out with me hiking and exploring all the time. It works great for everything. I've done all the following frequently and with ease: chopping downed trees into movable sections, ripping up stumps (the saw works great on roots) processing firewood, de-limbing, and a lot of other things. The sheath stays strapped to my pack and the molle works great for that. The finish has held up well and there are no issues of rust if I clean and oil the blade at the end of the day. Sharpening is quick and easy on the portable workshop field sharpener. Grip Retention is great, with gloves the knife never feels like it's going to leave my hand even without a lanyard. Never noticed any hotspots. If I lost it I would buy it again immediately.
