Thin Grip - Note Finger Groves
Wanted this product to carry when I'm hiking. I will be carrying it behind my Glock on my right hip. I carry both on that side as I usually have a dog leash in my left hand. Selected it after giving away a similar knife from another company which had very thin grip and poor quality sheath. I'm disappointed that there was not way to tell that the TOPS knife also has a thin grip. However, it's clip provides a little more distance off my belt so its easier to reholster. Otherwise, it's too easy to cut my finger or hip when I reholster it. Also, you cannot grip all the finger groves until you pull the knife out a little. After much practice, maybe this problem would go away. Otherwise, this could be a problem if you need the knife quickly and can't get a full grip. No more finger grove knives for me. It's a shorter version of my TOPS Dawn Warrior which I really like but need to return to TOPS to have the sheath tighten. It rattles and is annoying.
