Good Fighting Knife
If you want a really good fighting knife, then this is the one for you. It feels great in the hand, perfectly weighted. Light and fast during thrusts and cutting movements. The handle stays grippy even when wet and dries fast as well It comes razor sharp and with a wicked point. This knife is made for penetrating and slashing. The knife is sturdy and tough although it feels light in the hand. The kydex sheath is amazing, perfect for the blade, not too bulky but practical and looks good. The bottom line is if you want a fighting knife this is it. If you want a survival knife, look elsewhere because doing survival stuff - batonning etc - will ruin this knife and that would be a shame. There is a review online that says its a survival knife, believe me it is not. Also be aware that a patina will develop on 1095 steel knives after sometime, which is normal and wont affect functionality. Just keep it dry and oiled with a good knife oil. This knife is not for everyone but if you reviewed the pertinent points i noted above and still are interested, then give it a shot. It comes with a protective coating. After-sales service from Tops was excellent FYI. Best regards and good luck.
