great knife, cumbersome kit
The knife is excellent. A small blade with a large handle is far more useful than a small blade/small handle. It is a strong tool that can take some abuse. I made a useable spear (on my second attempt, there are no instructions). Trying it on trees, it seems to penetrate well, & was a balanced tool. the tip didn't break or bend. The Lansky sharpner is very effective. The sheath is bulky & uncomfortable, & the sharpener doesn't fit in it, just dangles & creates more bulk. There is paperwork, but it surprisingly doesn't discuss anything to do with harpoon making. The individual items are excellent, but it doesn't make a convenient kit.
