really amazing

Excellent knife for defense in every way, it is a true beast, comfortable ergonomic in the hand, very comfortable to use, excellent weight, an intimidating weapon to dissuade any attacker or as I said for defense.

WOW!

TOPS does not mess around....period! As a last ditch defense tool, this is probably overkill, that's what makes it perfect. Ergonomics are spot on. I initially thought the thickness of the stock would make it a little uncomfortable, it's what makes it shine! VERY sure in your hand. If you ever need it for its intended purpose, which I hope no one ever does, it will act as an extension of you arm. IT.....IS....NASTY!!! Sheath is stellar, allows you to carry inside or outside the waist band, and keeps it tucked in close to your body with minimal printing. Rips out in a hurry, with sucure lock up as well.Well done TOPS, you are what all American companies should strive to achieve, keep it up! Customer for life.

One solid piece of metal

I like the concept of the push dagger in general. I have a couple, that in a pinch, could be counted on to produce enough hurt to make an attacker disengage. This dagger, which could moonlight at a pry bar, will produce enough hurt to drop an attacker. Layers of clothing, even a heavy leather jacket, will provide no protection at all from a piercing attack. It is heavy, sure in the hand, accommodating of gloves, and certainly does NOT feel like a last-ditch weapon. I am certain that if I had to, I could hold it by the sheath and shatter a car door window with the t-bar handle. If you are still deciding, buy one now and think about it later...

It’s completely different from the push daggers you know.

The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 is the sheath retention is far too tight! Which makes it impractical to draw quickly. Otherwise this thing is a BEAST! You could easily punch through any material and I mean steel, etc. without damaging the point. If you punch it, they will crumple! Get the sheath right and it would be formidable! Heavy in the hand means penetration.
