Toor Knives Dropwing

-This knife is in my EDC rotation. It's good at all aspects but its primary a self-defense EDC -I like the size; the scales are awesome and hand feel. -If I could change one thing and this is being picky, I would change the thumb stud to something with more grip and maybe the location of it on the blade. I feel like I have to overextend my thumb to complete the opening of the knife and I have slightly above average size hands but the plus of it being like this is it opens with no noise and if you are trying to put the sneak on someone that is a plus. Is not a fidget type of opening knife at all.

Junk

I have a lot of knives - particularly folders that I have tuned to have great action. This knife came out of its very impressive box with accompanying bling looking pretty good and that’s where the joy ended. The crossbar was incredibly sticky and grindy - and the pivot was so tight I could hardly open the knife using the thumb stud. No big deal says I to myself, it’s not uncommon for the factory to over tighten the pivot. Having loosened pivot helped, but even with the pivot fully loose the blade action was draggy - and the crossbar was still ugly. So I took it apart - only to discover that the fasteners are all double headed T8s - not great. This was also true of the pivot, which makes tuning that a joy (not). I’ll cut this short to say that after 3 hours of messing around the result was a knife that look really cool, and has a draggy blade with an inconsistent sticky crossbar that I’ll look to gift to someone I don’t like.
