Great Knife, very poor sheath!
I’d use the Rocky Mountain Spike when out deer hunting. It’s nice and sharp right out of the box. I like the way the handle fits in my hand even without scales. It’s nice and thick so I’m not afraid of the blade breaking during any task I’d use it for. The only bad thing about the knife is the sheath. The knife just sits in it and rattles around. It would be easily lost within the first hour of hiking in heavy brush or even bending over or sitting in a deer stand. The sheath is excellent quality leather except it must be for another knife because this knife just rattles around in it and would be lost. If I didn’t like the knife so much I’d return just because of the sheath. I still might if I can’t find another way to securely carry it.
