The Wilderness/ Hunting knife

Typical Tops Knife quality. Would definitely perform delicate tasks like skinning game, food prep, wood carving and some heavy duty tasks yet is lightweight. Love the riverwash finish as it adds to its aesthetics. Great quality leather sheath (but needs some work to form fit the knife). The designer (Leo E.) was said to have "bear paws" and opted for thinner micarta scales. I have small to medium sized hands and the handle is just about perfect for me. But I already knew that before purchasing it. Overall, a great knife for the avid outdoorsman and hunting enthusiast.

Just wonderful

I tote this knife every day. I'm a residential carpenter and this knife works hard- from cutting bandings on pallet goods, to find tuning trim copes, and even slicing insulation batts when it's needed. I've beat the tar out of it. Good steel. Holds an edge pretty well, and really sharpens easily. My favorite thing about this knife is it's robust yet nothing is too beefy or heavy. Other knives I compared when shopping had much larger handles and such. This things just right. Sheath is good quality but nothing fancy. It's not fairing quite as good as the knife. The blade coating has taken a beating to, but that feels pretty fair for what it's been through.
