Full disclosure, I haven't chopped with it yet. Going by the assumption that its as good as other tops. The handles great, blades great, sheath... almost great. The sheath came very tight. I like tight. It secured the blade even when inverted. Everyone knows not to store carbon steel in the sheath, but I did anyway, hanging with some clothes in my bedroom closet. So I took it out the other night and was actually able to draw the blade while the sheath snaps were attached. So thats a bit meh. Maybe it wore in being snapped for so long. But don't let that stop you, this thing is a grim reaper in a hand puppet. I have no regrets and would recommend it to anyone who has arms. Except babies. You grow first, babies.
