Great Knives

I enjoyed throwing knives when I was a teenager, but it has been a long time since my last knife throwing experience. Recently, I dug out several old throwing knives and also purchased the Gil Hibben Pro Thrower Next Generation large triple set. I have to say that these knives have good balance and weight; they are also easier for me to get back into my knife throwing grooves. My consistency with these knives is much better than the other knives that I have. These knives are definitely my favorite ones so far.

Awesome

Very durable, keep an edge/point despite my awful attempts to stick them in the target. Definitely worth the wait.

Simple and Excellent!!!

What I find in these knives that most throwers do not have is a more appropriate thickness. There balance is great for rotation and spin control. There are small and function best from 6, 9, 12, and 18 feet. I have actual worn out two sets, working on my third set, and already have a fourth replacement set. I use them indoor and outdoor. Great little throwers.

perfect for no spin!

I throw these knives using the "no spin" technique from 3' to 25' and they are the best I've thrown in my short stint of knife throwing. Virtually no rotational spin and ez to find the index finger drag and push point to give the perfect arc. and no "bumps" you find on many throwing knives the interfere with index finger control. I wish they had even longer versions!

Great throwers

I am a beginner and I've found these to really work! They are high quality, seem very durable, and penetrate deep into the two by six plank I use for a target. Compared to the Cold Steel true flight I also bought, they are smaller and lighter and for me a bit harder to control. It's fun to go back and forth using the Hibbens and the Cold Steel!

Sheath Button came broken

I like the overall items... My friend and I built a stand out back of his home and we use them almost every day. The only issue was the sheath that came with the knives was broken. The button piece came off the black nylon material within ten minutes of first opening the knives.

Good throwing knife

It took me a while to figure out that this knife needs to be thrown from the handle.

Good knives, bad sheath

I throw into a target made out of sideways 2x4's, and these knives have held up well. The first day I got them, it felt like one was sticking going into the sheath. A little extra force unstuck the knife, sent it through the tip of the sheath, and almost into my arm... The knives are well-made, but the sheath is not particularly good. Depending on your throwing style, the pre-sharpened blade could be a little dangerous.

Excellent Thrower - simple

I have used these since I started throwing and they hold up well. The tip is not overly pointy, so it will not break easily, and the knive is a simple smooth design with a good release and a good weight. I occaisionally break a tip but I throw at fairly hard wooden targets. A little time with the belt sander puts the tip back on. I highly recommend these knives for the aspiring thrower. And don't forget to keep practicinig.
